The annual conference of the Geneva Society took place on 10/11 November in Munich.
The general assembly on Saturday was followed by a fascinating lecture by Professor Christian Walter (Chair of International Law and Public Law, LMU Munich) on the topic “The status of Taiwan under international law – current perspectives on an ongoing legal issue of the post-war period”.
The annual conference was accompanied by a typical Bavarian social program, including a visit to the New Town Hall including its law library and a tour of the Nazi Documentation Center. In the evening, the physical well-being was taken care of in a Munich brewery.
The general assembly confirmed the previous board members, as well as Martin Nothmann and Nikos Yiannopoulos as new members of the board. Their board colleagues are grateful for their commitment and the good cooperation.
Around 30 participants enjoyed the varied program of the annual conference on site and another ten people took part in the hybrid events online.
We would like to thank the law firm Hengeler Mueller for enabling us to meet in their beautiful premises in Munich.
