Dear members and friends of the Geneva Society,
we cordially invite you to Hamburg for this year’s annual conference from 18-19 October 2024.
After the great experience and your feedback last year, we can once again expect a colourful two-day programme full of highlights in Hamburg. You can look forward to
- a guided tour of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) on Friday afternoon;
- a guided tour of Hamburg City Hall on Saturday; and
- a three-course dinner on the famous lightship in Hamburg harbour at the end of our event.
We are very pleased to announce Prof. Dr. Mehrdad Payandeh, LL.M. (Yale) from Bucerius Law School, a leading expert in the field of international law, European law and public law, as a speaker for our keynote speech. We will probably hear a presentation on his exciting work in the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Please make a note of these dates if you are interested to attend. We look forward to welcoming many of you and to following on from last year’s successful event in Munich!
