Dear members of the Geneva-Society,

We cordially invite you to our Annual Conference in Munich this year! The Annual Conference with the General Assembly will take place from 10 to 11 November 2023 in Munich.

As already announced in our Save-the-Date-Mail, the conference will be accompanied by a colourful Bavarian social programme. You can look forward to guided tours through the NS Documentation Centre as well as the famous Munich New Town Hall with a visit to the Law Library and the possibility to climb the Town Hall Tower. On Saturday evening we will round off the conference with a hearty three-course meal in a Munich brewery. Please find the exact programme details on the following pages.

The General Assembly with a presentation by Prof. Dr. Christian Walter of the LMU Munich on “The status of Taiwan under international law – current perspectives on an enduring legal issue of the post-war period” and a joint lunch will take place on Saturday, 11 November 2023, starting at 10:15 a.m. at the Munich office of the law firm Hengeler Mueller – participation is possible in hybrid form.

We are particularly pleased to introduce a new initiative of the association this year: our mentoring programme. Before the actual General Assembly begins on Saturday, we cordially invite you to our one- hour hybrid kick-off event! Would you like to become a mentor and/or mentee yourself? We would especially like to ask all members of the association who are already professionals for their support. Further details can be found on the following pages.

For better planning, we please ask you to register online for the Annual Conference and/or General Assembly by 15 October 2023. You can choose whether you would like to attend in person or via livestream and whether you would like to attend the entire conference or just individual days.
